The Sellier & Bellot Subsonic .300 AAC Blackout cartridge is loaded with a heavy 200 grain Full Metal Jacket bullet featuring a lead core in a CuZn10 copper zinc alloy jacket. A carefully calibrated powder charge produces a subsonic muzzle velocity of 323 m/s (1060 fps), eliminating the supersonic crack on firing and pairing perfectly with a suppressor for maximum quiet operation. Muzzle energy reaches 677 J (499 ft-lbs), while a ballistic coefficient of 0.558 (G1) ensures efficient velocity retention downrange. The boat tail bullet design with a cannelure at the crimp point ensures stable seating and consistent shot to shot accuracy. The brass casing is reloadable. This cartridge is ideal for training, suppressed firearm use, and practical range sessions.
