The Dewey 30/40 rifle cleaning rod is 40 inches (101.6 cm) long and is suitable for cleaning automatic rifles, carbines, and sniper rifles of 7.62mm caliber. Unlike many low quality alternatives, the Dewey rod is made using a metal core with a nylon sheath that provides a protective function. The plastic handle can be removed for convenient transportation, fitting into a carrying case. The widely used 8/32" thread helps unify the accessories of your cleaning tools. The kit includes: a needle style jag for 30 caliber cartridges (.308 Win, .30-30, .300 WinMag), a cleaning rod, and a plastic handle.
