The Dewey gun cleaning rod is a time-tested accessory used by thousands of shooters for cleaning .22 caliber firearms. The main advantages of this model include its quality materials: aircraft grade aluminum that ensures structural rigidity, and nylon used in the rod's sheath. A standard 8/32" female thread is used for attaching accessories, fitting most brushes and jags. With an overall rod length of 36 inches (91 cm) you can easily clean larger firearms. Choosing to buy a rod for .22 caliber weapons also allows you to use it with 5.45 and 5.56 caliber firearms. The kit includes the rod itself, a comfortable plastic handle, a brass loop jag for patches, and an adapter.
