Boker is one of the oldest German companies in the knife industry. It was founded in 1829 in the small German town of Remscheid by brothers Robert and Heinrich Boker. Production initially began with the manufacture of sabers. The business quickly became so successful that within a year the company employed 64 professional blacksmiths along with many unskilled workers. The production facility also operated 47 specialized machines, and the volume of orders was extremely high. During that period, approximately two thousand sabers were produced every week. Today, Boker continues to grow and develop, successfully competing on the global market with other world-renowned knife manufacturers. The company has established a separate production line in China dedicated to Boker Magnum folding knives. This line is characterized by a wide variety of models, ranging from simple single-blade knives to multifunctional designs with different numbers of tools. Boker knives are known worldwide for their excellent steel quality and for their distinctive yet consistently well-chosen handle materials.
