The Heym SR 30 Keiler rifle features a straight pull bolt action with an original locking system. The design uses steel balls that extend during chambering and lock into a groove inside the barrel. The trigger mechanism allows adjustment of trigger pull weight. The barrel is manufactured using cold rotary hammer forging. Due to precise machining, the bolt moves smoothly inside the receiver without hesitation. The barrel and receiver form a single interchangeable assembly that can be replaced within minutes. For the SR 30 Keiler model, a lightweight 60 centimeter barrel version is available, featuring longitudinal flutes on the outer surface. The simplicity and reliability of the design are ensured by the original straight pull bolt with steel ball locking. The safety is located at the rear of the bolt. When the bolt handle is set to an intermediate position, it is locked and the firing spring cannot be cocked. The magazine is detachable, single stack, with a capacity of three rounds.
