The legendary “Schmeisser”, an icon of the firearms world from the era of World War II, is reborn in the form of the modern semi-automatic Automatic MP-38 carbine. This replica allows its owner to possess a piece of history, carefully reproducing the appearance and many design features of the historical prototype — the MP38 submachine gun designed by Heinrich Vollmer.

The MP38 became the world’s first submachine gun with a downward-folding metal stock and a complete absence of wooden parts — only metal and Bakelite, which is used in the replica’s fore-end. The charging handle is located on the left side, just like on the original. The milled magazine well has also been preserved.

This replica is manufactured as a rifled semi-automatic carbine chambered in 9×21 mm. The 25 cm barrel features a 1:10" twist rate and an M16×1.5 muzzle thread. Its distinctive appearance and historical background contribute to its collectible value, which is reflected in the price of this Schmeisser.

Firing is conducted from a rear sear, while the trigger mechanism is blocked when the stock is folded to comply with civilian firearms regulations. The safety is engaged by placing the charging handle into a special shaped slot in the receiver.

Feeding is provided by the included magazine, which is limited to 10 rounds. The sighting system consists of a front sight and a rear sight. The overall length of the carbine is 83.3 cm with the stock extended and 60 cm when folded, with a total weight of 4.42 kg.
