Christensen Arms – high technology in the world of firearms

Christensen Arms is a firearms company from the state of Utah (USA). Despite its relative youth (founded in 1995, which legitimately makes the company young in the firearms market), Christensen Arms has already earned a strong reputation among hunters, military personnel, and enthusiasts of high-precision sport shooting.

Carbon, titanium and computer-controlled machining

From the very beginning of its firearms production, Christensen Arms has emphasized the use of advanced technologies. Roland Christensen, the company's leader, ignored the skeptics and began actively using carbon fiber not only as a substitute for plastic. The idea that allowed the company to capture a significant niche in the market was the production of composite barrels. The core of such a barrel is a steel liner wrapped with multiple layers of carbon fiber. The result is minimal weight and strength that can be compared to (and sometimes exceed) that of a steel barrel. In addition, the carbon wrapping minimizes thermal deformation of the barrel, so accuracy does not degrade over a series of shots. Christensen Arms rifles also employ other modern materials and technologies. Where appropriate, steel is replaced with lighter titanium, and most parts are manufactured on high-precision, computer-controlled machines.

Modern Precision Rifle – Christensen Arms' flagship

The Modern Precision Rifle (MPR) line of rifles and carbines is recognized as the company's flagship. The production of these weapons incorporates the brand's most advanced developments, making MPR rifles very lightweight and highly reliable. Adjustable stock geometry allows the rifle to be tailored to the shooter's parameters, so ergonomics are top-notch. In addition, the company provides a Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee — so pairing the rifle with an optimal scope is usually enough to achieve precision. Otherwise, Modern Precision Rifle rifles are forgiving of shooter errors — and a true marksman can work wonders with them. The only conditional downside might be the price of Christensen Arms firearms — but once you pick up the rifle, you'll be convinced it fully justifies its cost.
