Unlike most firearm manufacturers, the Czech company Laugo Arms did not make mass production its main priority, choosing instead to focus on creating the perfect pistol. They achieved a technological breakthrough with the release of a unique model named the Alien. The high price of the pistol is a reflection of its exclusivity and premium quality, but it did not prevent it from earning recognition and an impeccable reputation in the civilian sport shooting market. Collectors are also undeterred by the price of the Alien pistols, as experts believe that this exclusive firearm will not lose its value over time. The Alien stands out due to its unconventional barrel position — the barrel’s axis is nearly aligned with the shooter’s trigger finger. This innovative design significantly reduces muzzle rise. The delayed blowback system with a gas piston further reduces recoil, allowing the Alien Performance to achieve a record-fast re-aiming time of just 0.062 seconds — compared to approximately 0.102 seconds in most conventional pistols. Aiming time is also minimized, as the upper slide with the sights remains stationary during shooting.
