The Rockstead RIN-ZDP (BG) is a masterfully crafted Japanese folding knife that blends traditional elegance with precision engineering. Named “RIN,” meaning ‘dignified’ in Japanese, its design is inspired by the Naguri wood-texturing technique seen in classic temples and castles. Crafted with a ZDP-189 steel blade featuring a mirror polish and convex grind, it ensures lasting sharpness. The blade measures 85 mm in length and 3.2 mm in thickness for optimal strength. The handle is composed of beige ebonite with titanium liners and features a Button Lock for smooth one-handed deployment. Its concealed clip system eliminates uncomfortable handling sensations—no more “clip feel”—and allows tip-up carry for right or left hands. Weighing just 102 g, it is exceptionally lightweight. Made in Japan, each knife comes with a unique serial number and is delivered in a signature wooden presentation box.
