The Ruzhes hunting gun maintenance kit is designed for cleaning and lubricating the bore, protecting it from corrosion and keeping all metal parts and mechanisms of your firearm in good, well maintained condition. It comes with instructions and four 30 ml bottles: neutral gun oil, a leading removal solution, preservation oil, and alkaline gun oil. For use, the manufacturer recommends first applying a small amount of neutral oil to soften fouling, then removing it after 8-10 minutes using patches or a cloth. Next, apply the leading removal solution, then remove it with a soft brass brush, and apply the alkaline solution to the bore to neutralize powder gases released during oxidation. After using the three previous oils, apply the preservation gun oil and the cleaning process is complete.
