The cap locks securely in the open position and has two protrusions that make it easy to operate in rainy weather or while wearing thick winter gloves. The protective cap for the Blaser B2 scope also offers another subtle function — thanks to the built-in magnet and the iC (Illumination Control) system, the reticle illumination automatically switches on and off when the cap is opened, helping to save battery life. Installation is simple — just loosen the fixing screw and tighten it again after mounting on the eyepiece.
