Holosun HS503CU collimator sight

The Holosun HS503CU red dot sight with solar panel comes mounted on a high riser and Weaver/Picatinny rail interface, designed for firearms used in close-range hunting. A key feature of Holosun’s closed red dots is the angled lens design, which eliminates parallax at any distance. Compared to the HS503C, the HS503CU stands out with protective U-shaped recesses around the adjustment turrets. This model offers dual power sources – a lithium battery providing up to 50,000 hours of runtime and a solar panel on the housing. In automatic mode, the sight runs on solar energy with brightness adjusted according to ambient light, while in low-light conditions it automatically switches to battery power. In manual mode, brightness is controlled via “+” and “-” buttons, with settings saved even after shutdown or hibernation (10 min/1 h/12 h without movement). The reticle can be switched between a 2 MOA red dot (13 mm at 100 m) and a 65 MOA circle (1.7 m at 100 m) with a central dot. The HS503CU is waterproof up to 1 m, dustproof (IP67 rating),and operates reliably in temperatures from -30°C to +60°C. This makes it an ideal optic for winter hunting, ensuring consistent performance without fogging or light transmission loss.
