The FN SCAR 20S by the Belgian company Fabrique Nationale d’Herstal was developed to replace standard SR-25 rifles chambered in 7.62 NATO with a more advanced and modern firearm system. Its cold-hammer-forged barrel with a service life of up to 10,000 rounds, a heavy contour for better heat dissipation, and a 20-inch length provide best-in-class accuracy at ranges up to 1000 meters.
