  • The Teren self-defense spray is the “civilian” version of the Teren-4M pepper spray (recommended for use by law enforcement agencies). It contains an irritant and tear-inducing agent based on synthetic pepper extract. The formula is effective against both humans and animals (especially dogs). The Teren-4 pepper spray is designed for single use. The canister has a capacity of 100 ml and is effective at distances up to 2.5 m. Since a fine aerosol is released when activated, caution is required: wind gusts or use in enclosed spaces may affect the person applying the spray.
