In 2017, the German company Blaser, still known for the production of hunting firearms, decided to enter the optics market. Blaser has introduced four new roof prism binoculars in the following sizes: 8x30, 8x42, 10x42 and 8x56. Their price, constructive and very solid stylish appearance can be attributed to the premium segment of the market. The scheme presented in the company's catalog clearly demonstrates the use of the Abbe-Koenig prism. In addition, manufacturers boast the use of very effective CCC (Contrast and Color Corrective Coatings) anti-reflective coatings. The exteriors are covered with outer protective layers (called Smart Lens Protection) and the binoculars' chassis are made from magnesium composites. Binocular Blaser Primus 8x56 is designed for night observation, weighs 1150 grams. The line offers one of the widest fields of view in its class (7.6 degrees) with a large eye relief of up to 21mm. The binocular lens consists of three optical elements and a focusing lens. The eyepiece is a wide-angle system with six lenses. In the box, buyers receive a one-piece eyepiece cap (reinguard),separate cups for lenses with holders, a comfortable soft strap with a special fastening system, a cloth for cleaning optics and a very durable stylish hard case.
