The long borescope from the American company HawkEye is a universal tool designed for firearm maintenance and inspection. It allows shooters to quickly inspect the bore of a barrel in order to evaluate fouling levels and overall condition. The key feature of HawkEye products is the proprietary endoGRINs® multilayer lens coating technology, which improves contrast and color reproduction while also increasing the durability and reliability of the device. The 17 inch length (43 cm) makes the borescope suitable for inspecting most types of rifled firearms. Illumination is provided by a Mini Maglite flashlight powered by two AA batteries. The complete kit includes the borescope itself, a 90 degree side viewing attachment, the Mini Maglite flashlight, a lens cleaning kit, and a lockable plastic carrying case.
